T+E+A+M

Architecture, Installations

Based in Ann Arbor, T+E+A+M is an architecture practice led by four principals: Thom, Ellie, Adam, Meredith.

Notable projects include Northwood ADU, one of Ann Arbor’s first new accessory dwelling units; The Warehouse, a space for Dartmouth College’s first master of fine arts (MFA) program in Sonic Practice; 4 over 4 and larger concepts for new workforce housing; and Detroit Reassembly Plant, a reimagining of the vacant, iconic Packard Plant for the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale.

Under construction and nearing completion, T+E+A+M’s first built project in Detroit — Building in a Building — is part adaptive reuse, part new construction, and part public space.

T+E+A+M’s principals frequently lecture, present, jury and crit at other institutions. The practice’s work has been featured in Dezeen, Divisare, Document, and Dwell, among other media. In 2022, Wallpaper* profiled the American Midwest firm as part of their Next Generation project .
