Based in Mexico City, Michan Architecture is recognized as one of North America’s top emerging architecture firms with a portfolio of housing, hospitality, and cultural projects.

Working across scales, the firm’s portfolio includes three cultural pavilions as part of Scenic Garden in Chapultepec Park, named Mexico’s most innovative project in 2024; C294 Apartments, a strategic commercial-to-residential adaptive reuse project; and several restaurants, such as OKU and HIYA, among others.

Current projects include a beachfront bungalow on the Pacific Ocean; MX99, the adaptive reuse of a commercial building for short-term stay apartments and two restaurants; and a 4,000-square-foot restaurant in Atlanta.

Michan Architecture and its projects have been recognized internationally by the Architectural League of New York, Architectural Record’s ‘Design Vanguard,’ ARCHITECT’s Progressive Architecture P/A Award, and the American Architecture Prize, among others.
