Based in Los Angeles, StudioHAU is a design and research office practicing at the intersection of architecture, the natural environment, and sustainable design.
Current and recent projects include the Minnesota Art Barn, Berkshire Museum renovation, Skylone House, Venice Loft addition, and the Hollywood Grueter Residence. The firm has a growing portfolio of ecotourism and resort developments.
Notable projects in the founder’s portfolio prior to founding StudioHAU include the Grand Rapids Art Museum (the first LEED certified art museum in the world), Pomona College’s interdisciplinary Studio Art Hall, and the Tyler Museum of Art in East Texas.
In 2024, BUILD Magazine named StudioHAU one of California’s Best Sustainable Research Architecture Studios.
